Prepare the sourcing strategy according to the production processes, program requirements, production footprint and Global/China supplier panel
Create and manage the requests for quotations to the supplier.
Analyze and review the supplier quotations according to the specifications together with the engineering and project teams
Conduct the negotiations with the suppliers to reach the timing, cost, quality and technical requirements of the program.
Lead the supplier nomination process.
Follow and track weekly the performance of the suppliers after nomination in order to secure the timing and ensure that the program milestones are supported.
Follow and negotiate the modifications and engineering changes during the development and serial phase, ensure the respect of quality, budget and delivery deadlines
Masters degree in engineering with a professional experience / specialisation in international purchasing or project management
Minimum 5 years experience as Buyer/Engineer in an industrial environment for the automotive branch
Acknowledgability about injection tool manufacturing and assembly process
Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to work autonomous in a matrix organisation
IInternational mind set
Negotiating skills and assertiveness
Minimum bi- lingual (English required)
Good Knowledge of MS Office tools
