Commitment to Environment

The commitment with the environment of Merit Automotive Electronics Systems SLU is to reduce the impact of our activities through the focus of manufacturing our products with the most efficient and sustainable process to our Environment, going beyond the accomplishment of the law, integrating the environmental perspective in our business decision.

The implementation in 2000 of the Environment Management Systems (EMS) ISO 14001 guarantees the conservation of the environment, minimalizing our waste and contaminants, and promote the reduction, re-use and the recycling of our raw materials as much as in our operations and in our suppliers.

MERIT AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONICS SYSTEMS have activity manufacturing components for the car industry. The Environmental and Labor Security Policy followed by MERIT is to implement the industrial management with the maximum consideration to the Security and Labor Health for their employees and towards the environment, being this one of the key values of the Company in a worldwide level.

The Company understands that the subjective asset are the employees, that by means of: The information and adequate training, the participation and consult, the implementation and use of security means, must implant, keep and develop the integrated system of the management for labor Security and environment according to the regulation ISO45001, that allows us to avoid and minimize the risks of all and each of the job positions, including contracted and outsourced, and making possible the solutions involving the efficient use of raw materials, natural resources, and the correct treatment of the waste, emissions, leak and noise to obtain.
